As the 2020-2021 school approaches, I am sure you all have many questions and concerns about what the school year will look like. Currently, the Coos Bay School district is offering an online only option and a hybrid option which incorporates 3 hours a day of in-person instruction, Monday-Thursday, and online supplemental work. Throughout the next month, I will provide weekly updates through the Madison Elementary Facebook page and my Google site, Principal's Google Site . If you are not on our Facebook page, please request to be added. We have a lot of great information on the page. In regards to the school options, we are asking that parents make a decision by August 17. I will try to get as much information to families as possible to help make the best decision for your family. Our hybrid model involves AM/PM cohorts and the information about what cohort your child is placed is available on the school district webpage. Circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus are rapidly changing daily, so the specifics about expectations. protocols/procedures, and details are evolving.
